“We are calling on everyone to take action and write to Greggs CEO, Roisin Currie CBE. and demand an end to threats of restructure and redundancy.”
By Sarah Woolley
On 2 October, Greggs announced the threat of large-scale redundancies.
After years of success, which has seen 700 new stores since 2021, £90 million dividends to shareholders in the last few weeks and CEO pay topping £1.7 million, this threat of redundancy is not acceptable.
We are calling on everyone to take action and write to Greggs CEO, Roisin Currie CBE, and demand an end to threats of restructure and redundancy.
Today, I have also written to the Department for Business, Innovation and Trade demanding the Government step in and stop this attack on BFAWU members.
Write to Roisin now. We say #BakeJobsNotCuts.
