We know that Trump is a massive threat to us all.
He’s facilitating genocide in Gaza.
He’s pushed NATO states to rearm on a huge scale and massively increase military spending.
He’s doing this to try and maintain the US as the no. 1 superpower in the world.
But it’s this US-led world order that has got us to here. To genocide. To climate breakdown. To global poverty. And the rising threat of nuclear annihilation.
And now – Trump’s deadly new nuclear weapons are stationed across Europe and here in Britain, at the NATO base in Lakenheath, just 70 miles from here.
These nuclear bombs are designed by the US specifically for war. Just one bomb has the destructive power to kill over 600,000 people. And release deadly radiation – poisoning people, eco- systems and causing cancers for generations.
And Lakenheath has also been directly involved in Israel’s genocide on Gaza.
We say – these bases of death must be shut down!
They tie Britain even closer to Trump. They increase the risk of dragging us all into Trump’s reckless wars. Where these nuclear bombs stationed at Lakenheath could be used. That makes us all a target.
And we know the risks are growing. Poland is calling on NATO to create a ‘no-fly zone over Ukraine’. This would bring the US directly into a war with Russia. The two biggest nuclear powers in the world.
So we have to do everything stop this.
The majority of the British population oppose Trump’s nukes being deployed here. And totally understand how these nuclear weapons put us all in danger.
That’s why on Saturday we’re protesting at Lakenheath. To say loud and clear that neither Trump nor his nuclear bombs are welcome here.
