Strike Map, in association with Brighton & Hove Unite the Union and Brighton Hove & District Trade Union Council, have created an email tool to help show support for staff at the i360 Tower fighting for the wages they are owed after the closure of the attraction- you can find out more about the situation and how you can offer support below.
On December 19th, it was announced that the i360 in Brighton, with much of the original finance for the project coming from Brighton and Hove City Council, would cease operations immediately.
This decision has left 150 workers redundant, having worked extended hours, often exceeding 60-70 hours per week. Consequently, all workers have been informed that they will not receive their wages and are being directed to seek redundancy pay through the Government.
