“The majority of people in this country do not want this war, and they certainly do not support UK involvement in yet another Middle East catastrophe.”
By Stop the War
Tens of thousands marched to the US Embassy in London yesterday, and local protests took place in towns and cities around the country – all in opposition to the US-Israeli strikes on Iran. Thank you to all who took part.
But organising protests and mass demonstrations is expensive: placards, staging and transport costs mount up. If you were one of the thousands on the streets yesterday, then please do one more thing and help contribute to the cost. If you were unable to attend, then take action now and help with the cost of yesterday’s demo.
The majority of people in this country do not want this war, and they certainly do not support UK involvement in yet another Middle East catastrophe.
The message was loud and clear yesterday: not in our name. We must do what we can to build the strongest and broadest opposition to this war. Please help us. Please also take a moment to add your name to our petition: Hands off Iran, Stop Trump’s Wars, no UK involvement in illegal wars. Our strength is in numbers.
