Union leaders join the Right to Food Commission to unite against hunger and food poverty

In the 6th richest country in the world, 14 million people experience food poverty and insecurity.

On Monday 23rd February, trade unionists and leading campaigners, including the Parliamentary lead of the Right to Food Commission Ian Byrne MP joined together for an online rally on tackling food poverty with a Right to Food, why hunger is a trade union issue, what collective action looks like, and to support the work of the Right to Food Commission.

Food poverty and hunger affect millions of families, communities and workers across the country. A Right to Food can change that.
