“No Labour Party meeting should take place at the moment without us making the demand for the reinstatement of Jeremy Corbyn.”

John McDonnell took the opportunity on Wednesday at the Labour Assembly Against Austerity’s event responding to the Spring Statement to argue that “No Labour Party meeting should take place at the moment without us making the demand for the reinstatement of Jeremy Corbyn” and also making the clear point that we need to make “it absolutely clear that we believe in free speech in our movement and therefore those constituencies [or those constituency officers] that have been suspended for simply wanting to talk about Jeremy’s suspension should be reinstated.”
As John says, “Saturday at 5PM there’s this rally to support Jeremy Corbyn and his reinstatement. Come along so we can demonstrate in numbers the need for Jeremy to be reinstated now.”
And as a movement, as John also said, “Lets be absolutely clear that we stand in full solidarity with Jeremy Corbyn, comrade and friend.”
